The Chopard brand was founded in 1860 in Sonvillier, in the Swiss Jura, by Louis-Ulysse Chopard. The Scheufele family has owned it since 1963 and the company’s head office is located in Geneva. Recognized worldwide for its watches and jewelry, the group now employs 1,950 people worldwide. It is independent and vertically integrated, controlling the entire process from design to distribution through 1,500 points of sale and 130 stores. More than 30 professions exercised in the brand’s 4 production sites where the emphasis is placed on internal training.
Chopard has built its reputation on iconic collections like “Happy Diamonds”, “Happy Sport” and “Mille Miglia”. The company has also won its letters of nobility with its creations in the field of “Haute-Joaillerie” and its perfect watchmaking mastery, the LUC collection is the remarkable expression. Chopard is an official partner of the Cannes International Film Festival as well as legendary classic car races such as the Mille Miglia in Italy and the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique.
